Our Services

  • Therapy gives individuals the time and space to reflect upon areas of distress or struggle, and to discover ways of bringing about meaningful change in their lives. Our clinicians work with you to identify your goals, strengths, and values, and provide personalized strategies to help you achieve forward momentum.

At Finding Forward Therapy, we offer both in-person and teletherapy services. Thanks to the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact, people living in the following states can now access our services remotely: remote services site.

  • Emotional Connection

Sometimes couples find themselves in repetitive patterns that leave them feeling emotionally or sexually disconnected, resentful, or alone. It’s hard to restore good feelings and a sense of connection when negative cycles have taken hold within a relationship. Couples therapy can help you express what it is you are hoping to reclaim in your relationship, and to meaningfully engage in dialogue about how to rebuild connection and a sense of mutual understanding.

“Love is a verb. It’s not a permanent state of enthusiasm. Love is something that you actively cultivate.”

    — Esther Perel

    Trust Violations

Trust violations, such as affairs and other kinds of secret keeping, can have profound destabilizing effects on a relationship. It can feel daunting to think about how, and if, your trust can ever be repaired. Following the painful revelation of a trust violation, therapy can help both partners with the hard emotional work of processing these types of relationship traumas and finding a path forward.
